Put this to the top of your list of places to eat. My husband and I went there today for lunch. The host just was so kind and helpful. Sounded like a native English speaker. He had the Penang curry with vegetable and I had the Phat Me Muang also with vegetable. He asked for his to be a level three out of five spicy and it was exactly what he wanted. Both dinners were absolutely delicious and we go for Thai food quite often on our travels. Definitely highly recommend. We will likely go back during our vacation this week.

TLDR: My pad Thai was very tasty but not authentic. The service was terrific, and the vibe was good. There's a really nice bar upstairs with air conditioning and comfortable seating, but I chose to dine outside on the second level for a beautiful view of the sunset. I felt like having something different tonight and Thai food is something I love. I've spent a great deal of time in Thailand and I'm a bit of a foodie - I've even taken cooking classes in Thailand. That is why I am qualified to say that the pad Thai is not authentic but very tasty and a good sized portion. Many places around the world fall into the trap of making pad Thai that is covered in sauce, like Thai spaghetti or something. Pad Thai is supposed to be cooked in a crazy hot wok and the noodles should absorb virtually all of the ingredients, and with them, the flavor. I would describe the desired result as glistening, not goopy. In this case there was a lot of sauce BUT it was delicious so I enjoyed my meal very much. I appreciated the excellent service which was friendly and attentive. I plan to go back but next time I'll go a little earlier so I can relax in the bar upstairs before dining outside to enjoy the sunset.

I was in the mood for something different but sticking to my plan to only eat seafood on the island. This was a spontaneous decision after discovering half the restaurants in town were closed on Sunday during low season. This was one of the best meals I had on the island. I ordered the panang curry with generous amount of lobster, and the Thai spicy coconut milk soup, washed down with Thai basil gin and beer. Kudos!

I'm giving this place four stars after waiting an hour for my meal - that's how good the food was. Some of the best Thai food I've ever had and maybe the best, and I have been to Thailand.

Good Thai food. New location is quite nice. Once of the few places to dine with a/c if you eat inside and outside has a great view! Service is very good.

When we walked into the Blue Elephant, we didn’t have very high expectations. After looking at the menu—especially since we had never had Thai food before—it felt a bit confusing at first. Luckily, our waiter was extremely helpful and guided us in choosing our dishes. When the food arrived, we were genuinely amazed. My brother even said, “This food deserves a Michelin star.” Every dish was packed with flavor and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. I would highly recommend the Blue Elephant to anyone looking for an outstanding dining experience
